"Templates seemed dated"
I tried putting together a simple site, and the templates just felt kind of old. Like, they work, but they have that stiff look, if that makes sense. I kept changing little things and then suddenly it still looked like every other site using the same layout. Maybe I missed some customization options, but yeah, it didn’t really feel easy to make it look fresh or personal

"Subscription was kinda confusing"
I wasn’t really clear on how the subscription work, and then the billing felt a bit shady to me tbh. I thought I understand what I was signing up for, but it didn’t feel that straightforward.

"Integrations could use a fair bit more polish"
I want to be fair because some of the app integrations worked fine at first, but a few ended up breaking on me and it made things frustrating. I reached out to support, and while they did eventually respond, it was slower than I expected. For the price, I think it’s reasonable to expect the integrations to be more reliable and support to be a bit quicker when something goes wrong.

"Expected more from the SEO tools"
I was hoping the SEO features would give my site a noticeable boost, but they felt limited. My site visibility stayed weaker than I expected, so it didn’t really live up to what I thought I’d be getting.

"Canceling my account was way more frustrating than it needed to be"
I had such a frustrating time trying to cancel my Wix account. Nothing was explained clearly in the settings, and I kept feeling like I was being sent in circles just to figure out how to stop the billing. Even when I reached out to support, the communication wasn’t clear at all and I got passed from one place to another without a straight answer. I just wanted to close the account and move on, but the whole process was a hassle

"My site keeps dropping out"
It’s been frustrating. One day the site loads, the next it’s crawling. Sometimes pages just don’t open at all. I’ll check again later, same thing. Support does reply, to be fair, but then... nothing really changes. If you need your website up and working every day, this gets old fast

"Feels pricey after using it recently"
I tried Wix recently, and at first it seemed super simple to get started. But once I actually got into it, the costs started piling up faster than I expected. Even on a paid plan, I still felt like I was running into limits, and a lot of the useful extras cost more. Maybe it depends on the site, but for the small site I just used it for, it didn’t feel like great value.

"I reached out to support and I’m still..."
I reached out to support and I’m still waiting for a reply. How long is a customer supposed to sit around without an update? It’s frustrating, honestly.

"Am I the only one who feels boxed in?"
Am I the only one who feels like there’s not much room to actually design? Everything just feels a little too locked down, and it’s hard to make it look the way I want...

"Customizing It Was Way More Frustrating Than Expected"
Wixsite is fine if you’re just throwing together a basic page, but trying to make it look the way I actually wanted was a pain. Some sections wouldn’t move where I needed them to, and a bunch of the design options felt weirdly limited. I spent way too much time fighting with simple layout changes what a joke.

"Slower than I expected"
I expected the site to be a lot quicker, but the pages took so long to load that it got frustrating fast. After waiting around a few times, I just gave up.

"Not as easy as I expected"
To be fair, wixsite might work fine for people who already know their way around it, but for me it was frustrating. I expected it to be simple, but moving things around felt clunky, and little things on the page kept shifting when I didn’t mean for them to. The menus weren’t very clear either, so I ended up spending way too much time trying to make basic edits. Maybe others have a better experience, but it was a headache for me.

"Easy domain setup, but the site reliability was frustrating"
I used wixsite.com for a small website, and to be fair, setting up the domain was straightforward. No real complaints there. But the hosting? That was a different story. Some days the pages loaded just fine, and other times they were slow or wouldn’t open right away. What’s the point of having a site if people can’t reliably access it? Support was okay, but they mostly sent basic troubleshooting steps and nothing really changed. It’s probably fine if you’re just putting up something simple and not relying on it too much, but for the price, shouldn’t it feel more stable?

"Mobile version is a mess"
I tried using the site on my phone it was frustrating. Whoever handled the mobile layout really didn’t seem to test it much, because everything felt cramped and hard to use

"Wixsite Looks Great Until You Try to Actually Sell Something"
wixsite is one of those things that looks amazing at first, like you’ve finally got your shop together and everything is about to run smoothly. Then you try to set up the actual selling part, and the drama begins. The checkout settings feel way more limited than I expected, and editing product pages takes too many clicks for stuff that should be simple. On top of that, some apps want extra money for features that feel basic. It technically works, sure, but if you’re trying to run a real online shop, it feels more frustrating than it should
